Military knowledge. Lived recovery. Operating experience.

Scott Sexton built Operation New Leash to give fellow veterans the time, structure, and purposeful work that can make a difficult transition more manageable.

Scott Sexton

Experience behind the mission

Scott is a retired U.S. Army combat engineer and military K9 handler. He has trained dogs since 2006 and founded Andover Dog Training Center in 2023.

ADTC provides the canine work, training systems, mentorship, and operating foundation that allow Operation New Leash to begin responsibly. The structure Scott built through therapy now informs the program model.
